ORDER GRAVEL AROUND THE JOB YOU NEED TO FINISH
Before ordering a load, decide where it will go and what it needs to do. Topping up a gravel driveway and preparing an area for asphalt can call for different material and site work.

Tri County Asphalt offers gravel delivery across our Central Valley service area. Send the location, intended use and approximate dimensions if you have them. We can discuss material and quantity without expecting you to arrive with a finished order.

Let us know if you also need grading or paving. The estimate should distinguish delivery from the work needed to spread, shape or prepare the area.
GRAVEL FOR DRIVEWAYS AND ACCESS AREAS
A worn gravel route may need replenishment, reshaping or more substantial preparation. Adding material without addressing ruts or water movement can leave the same problem waiting beneath the new layer.

If the driveway is uneven or difficult to use, ask about grading and site preparation as well as delivery. Looking at both helps define whether you need material dropped off or a larger improvement to the route.

For a future paved finish, we can discuss asphalt driveway paving or chip seal alongside the preparation.

PLAN THE DELIVERY BEFORE THE TRUCK ARRIVES
The unloading location needs to be identified in advance. Gates, narrow turns, overhead restrictions and ground conditions can affect whether a truck can reach the intended area.

Tell us if the material must be placed inside a fenced property or beyond an existing driveway. A few photos of the entrance and unloading area can help explain the access.

Delivery should also be coordinated with anyone else working on the site so the material does not block the next stage of the project.
QUANTITY DEPENDS ON AREA AND DEPTH
The area to be covered and the intended depth are the starting points for estimating material. Compaction and the condition of the ground can also affect what the project requires.

If you have measurements, share them. If not, describe the area and the work you intend to complete. We can discuss what information is needed before a quantity is finalized.

Material availability and delivery arrangements should be confirmed for the specific request. We do not assume every load has the same use or unloading requirements.

DELIVERY OR A COMPLETE SITE PROJECT
A delivery request and a finished driveway are different scopes of work. Make clear whether you need material delivered, spreading and grading discussed, or preparation for a new surface.

Tri County Asphalt also provides paving and repair. If those services are part of your goal, include them when you contact us so the project can be considered as a whole.
